As VR emerged into an immersive platform, Intel entered in on the ground floor as one of the few chip technologies capable of powering such an advancement. For their footprint within Suning stores, (China’s equivalent to Best Buy), Intel wanted to feature a cross-promoted, engaging experience that showcased this new medium, made possible only through the unparalleled power their chips could offer. The result was a series of Intel powered “Virtual Adventures”. Practical installations allowed users to embark on a journey that departed from a tangible reality and continued in a virtual one, all within the same physical space, executed as flagship immersive installations, as well as smaller space versions and mobile experiences.
